Triathlon for Kids - Programs from $100/month

The TriathlonPro emphasis on coaching kids is FUN and ENJOYMENT

Triathlon for kids can quickly become too competitive. At TriathlonPro, kids triathlon training is all about giving kids confidence in their swimming, cycling, running, and transition skills. The TriathlonPro philosophy of beginner triathlon training is that, if done correctly, kids will see triathlon becoming a lifestyle and not just a sport. Talk to any triathlete who has been involved in the sport for a number of years and they will tell you the sport is a lifestyle. Why? Because these triathletes developed at their own pace and never suffered the overtraining that comes with large volumes and high intensity too soon.

Triathlon may be an individual sport, but at TriathlonPro we understand the need to foster a team spirit to develop a positive training environment in which athletes and coaches work together.

TriathlonPro Kids Triathlon Training Programs

2 swims a week

2 rides a week

 2runs a week

6 training sessions a week

This sort of schedule is suitable for triathlon kids who are not involved in other individual and/or team sports. When planning a training schedule, TriathlonPro coaches consider homework and family life: here's a sample schedule to give an idea of the time involved:

Monday: Swim: 30 - 40 minutes (speed work/intervals). Run: 15 to 25 minutes (volume)

Tuesday: Bike: 30 - 40 minutes (volume)

Wednesday: Run: 20 - 30 minutes (speed work/intervals)

Thursday: Bike: 30 to 40 minutes (speed work and steady riding)

Friday: Swim: 30 minutes (steady and/or speed)

Saturday: Race or transition and skills practice. 30 - 40 minutes

Sunday: Family time. No training.
